Plans

Three plans.
No packs, no top-ups, no balance.

All prices are in United States Dollars (USD) and include VAT at 20%. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and cancelling takes one link from billing.

Two plain wooden sock blocker forms leaning against a dark wall, with no socks on them.

All prices USD · VAT 20% included

Annual terms. Paying yearly charges twelve months up front at the price shown, which works out at roughly 20% below twelve monthly payments — Gauge is $86 USD a year against $108 USD paid monthly, and Knit is $259 USD against $324 USD. Both figures include VAT at 20%. An annual plan renews annually until cancelled, and a fresh 14-day cooling-off period opens after each renewal. There is no minimum term beyond the year you have paid for and no early-exit fee. The saving is not time limited and is not conditional on anything.

Where the line is

The heel is free because the heel proves the point

The free plan maps the heel — the most extreme zone on the sock. One look tells you the pattern moves. What it cannot tell you is what to do about it.

That answer needs all five zones at once, because the same motif is nearly untouched on the arch side and gone at the heel. Nobody can perform a non-uniform mesh deformation in their head, which is the whole reason this exists.

On the free plan the watermark is placed so that it can never cover the limits list or the “modelled, not a photo” label.

Free plan gives you

  • The heel zone, fully mapped
  • The complete factor table for all five zones
  • The full list of what the model cannot know
  • Three patterns a month

Paid plans add

  • All five zones mapped, not just the heel
  • The zone-fit card
  • The interval control, to move through each range
  • High-resolution export with no watermark

Credits are an allowance to use the service. They are not money, not stored value, not redeemable for cash and not transferable. Each month’s allowance covers that month and does not carry forward. There are no credit packs and no top-ups.

Before you buy

Everything that happens after you press the button

01

You see it all first

A pre-contract summary shows the plan, the price in USD including VAT, the billing period, the renewal date and the cancellation route before any payment is taken.

02

Two separate questions

Whether to start immediately, and whether you accept that doing so ends the 14-day cancellation right, are asked as two unticked boxes and checked separately on our server.

03

A confirmation you can keep

The order confirmation email repeats both answers word for word, as the durable-medium record the regulations require.

04

A reminder before renewal

Its own email, with the date, the amount and a cancel link, and nothing else in it. Never inside a marketing message.

We implement the subscription requirements of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 voluntarily, ahead of the date on which they take effect. Full detail is in the terms of service and the cancellation and refunds policy.

Scope

What your subscription buys

A subscription buys access to a computational tool that models how a pattern deforms across the zones of a knitted sock, delivered immediately over this website. There is nothing physical to ship and nothing to wait for.

It does not buy socks, printing, artwork, design work, an opinion on a design, or any determination about copyright or trademarks — none of which we offer at any price. If that is what you need, we are not the right supplier and we would rather say so here than after you have paid.

Payments are taken over an encrypted connection by a PCI DSS compliant payment processor. Card details never reach our servers and we never store them. Major credit and debit cards are accepted.

Billing questions

The ones that come up

Anything else, write to support@tatextileshosiery.shop or call +44 161 989 0677.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days to cancel a subscription and receive a refund. Digital services are the exception to that: if you ask us to start supplying immediately and acknowledge that doing so ends the cancellation right once supply has begun, the right falls away for that period.

Because that trade is genuinely a trade, we put it in front of you as two separate unticked boxes at checkout, never pre-ticked and never bundled, and we repeat both statements in the order confirmation email. If you do not tick them, we simply wait out the 14 days before starting.

If we never told you about the cancellation right, it extends to 12 months and 14 days. Full detail, and the statutory cancellation form, are on the cancellation page.
