Acceptable Use Policy

Stretchprint models how a pattern deforms across the zones of a knitted sock. Legitimate use is uploading a flat image of a sock or a piece of artwork you have the right to upload, and reading the result.

It is a computational tool, sold as a subscription. We do not sell socks, we do not print them, we do not design them, and we do not provide legal, medical or financial advice of any kind.

• Photographs of anyone wearing socks, or any image containing a person, a foot, a leg or any identifiable body part. The upload step rejects these, and attempting to work around that is a breach of this policy.
• Any image of a child, in any context.
• Content you do not have the right to upload.
• Sexual content, content that sexualises any person, or content depicting or promoting violence, self-harm, terrorism or the sexual exploitation of anyone.
• Content that harasses, defames or promotes hatred or discrimination against a person or a group.
• Malware, or anything designed to interfere with the service or with another user.
• Personal data of other people, including identity documents, biometric images and medical records.

• Reselling, sublicensing or presenting the service as your own, or building a competing service out of its output.
• Automated scraping, bulk extraction, or attempting to reverse-engineer the stretch model beyond what the law allows.
• Sharing account credentials, or using one account for a whole team when the plan does not provide for it.
• Circumventing usage limits, credit allowances or the free-plan watermark, including by editing the watermark out of a downloaded image.
• Probing, scanning or load-testing our infrastructure without written permission.
• Presenting our output as a photograph of a worn sock, or removing the Modelled stretch — not a photo label before publishing an image.

Output must not be used as the sole basis for a decision, or as evidence, in any of the following contexts: medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, employment, credit, housing or judicial.

The output is a modelling aid for knitted geometry. It is not a measurement, not a manufacturing specification, and not a substitute for a physical sample.

Stretchprint is offered worldwide, but you may not use it, and we may not supply it, where doing so would breach UK, EU or US sanctions or export control law. You confirm you are not located in a comprehensively sanctioned territory and are not a person subject to asset-freezing or trade sanctions.

You are responsible for complying with the law that applies where you are, including any local rules on what you may do with the output.

Where we find a breach we may remove content, restrict a feature, suspend an account or end it. We tell you what happened and why, and give you a chance to put it right unless the breach is serious or unlawful. You may appeal to the same address, and a different person reviews it.

Serious matters may be reported to the police or another authority where we are required to do so.
