Cancellation & Refunds

Under regulation 29 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you may cancel a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The period runs from the day after the contract is concluded.

To cancel, tell us clearly. Email support@tatextileshosiery.shop, call +44 161 989 0677, use the cancel link in billing, or send the model form at the bottom of this page. Any clear statement works; the form is optional.

We refund within 14 days of being told, using the same payment method you used, with no fee.

Regulation 37 provides that for a contract to supply a digital service, the cancellation right is lost once performance has begun — but only where you gave express prior consent to beginning within the 14 days and acknowledged that you would lose the right by doing so.

Because that is a genuine trade, we put it in front of you as two separate statements at checkout, as two separate boxes, neither of them pre-ticked and neither of them bundled into anything else. The server checks both independently before any subscription is activated; ticking one does not tick the other.

Whatever you tick, we repeat both statements back to you word for word in the order confirmation email. That email is the durable-medium confirmation required by regulation 16.

If you tick neither, nothing is lost — we simply do not start supply until the 14 days have run, and your full cancellation right stays intact throughout.

If we ever failed to give you the information regulation 13 requires, the cancellation period is extended to 12 months and 14 days.

Beyond the statutory period you may cancel at any time from billing. It is one link, one confirmation, and it is done — no telephone call, no email to compose, no retention offer standing between you and the button.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we do not pro-rate a partial month, because you keep the service for it.

Credits are an allowance to use the service. They are not money, not stored value, not redeemable for cash and not transferable, and they carry no cash value on cancellation.

We implement the subscription provisions of the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 voluntarily, ahead of the date they take effect. That gives you, now:

• a pre-contract information screen before you pay;
• an initial 14-day cooling-off period;
• a fresh 14-day cooling-off period after each renewal of an annual plan;
• a reminder before renewal sent as its own email, containing the date, the amount and a cancel link and nothing else — never inside a marketing message;
• an exit no harder than the entrance.

If the service was faulty, was not as described, or was not supplied with reasonable care and skill, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you a right to a repair or a re-supply and, where that is not possible or not done within a reasonable time, to a price reduction. Ask and we will apply it.

Outside those cases we do not refund a period you have already used. If something has gone wrong that this page does not cover, write to us anyway — we would rather resolve it than be technically correct.
